The German based MOV´IT® GmbH, a 100% subsidiary of MOV´IT® International being located in Luxembourg, develops, manufactures and sells globally high-performance brake systems for sports, racing and security vehicles, as well as for the manufacturers of supersport cars. For more than 15 years MOV´IT® high performance braking systems have been a synonym for innovative braking technology.

In 1995, the braking system developed by Guido Frensemeyer only for the Corvette C4 was indroduced to the market for a wide range of car makes and models. This was the first time a braking  system was available as a tuning component.  High grade aircraft materials, cutting edge technology and a strong focus on function-oriented design and ultra precise craftsmanship soon made MOV´IT® braking systems one of the most important components for  every sports car on or off the race track.

In 2007 the MOV´IT-CER™ GEN.1, a novel carbon-silicon-carbide brake disc, was integrated in a complete braking system and brought to serial production standard. The MOV´IT-CER™ GEN.1 offered greatly reduced weight and a significantly enhanced lifetime. The GEN.1 started the famous MOV´IT®-line of ceramic braking systems. Meanwhile, the third generation (GEN.3) of this high-tech braking system offers a 70% higher performance than any other available ceramic braking system.

In addition to Sport, Tuning and Security, “Special-OE” represents a further important part of MOV´IT®´s competence. The main focus here is the development of specific solutions for car manufacturers in a wide variety of market segments.
