the Alfetta was the car after the " Bertone" GTV and the first Alfa designed by Giugiaro Ital design. The engineers wanted to built the best handling sportscar ever and gave him: the famous Alfa 4 cylinder with two double carburetors, a transaxle transmission, torsion bars in the front and deDion in the rear.
When Fiat took over Alfa they spent a few money for the body and interior. The result is famous as the "cheapest" Sportscar ever which gots rust already in the prospect. The top of the line car was the GTV and some are told to have the Montreal engine inside. The DELTA version was by far the best looking one with larger "telefon" rims, front and rear spoiler over the chromed !!!! bumper, shorter cams and electronic Magnet Marelli ignition. In 1980 they started the second serie with lots of cheap plastic inside and outside. Not my taste at all and to me no more ALFA ROMEO. The Porsche brakes were adapted to fit four and five bolt wheels.
This car was frame off restored in any technical, exterior and interior detail. The engine was tuned for unleaded use and the Interior done in Alcantara and Porsche carpets even in the trunk. You wont find one like this nowhere.
Here You may buy stainless steel exhaust parts for this and many other Alfas
